Mohamed started his first job as a Finance Officer in the Hulhumale’ Development Project. This is the single largest project in the history of Maldives which involves developing a city for hundred thousand people.
While working there he was awarded the President of the Maldives Scholarship for achieving the best score in the A level exams in the country in 2004. The scholarship meant that he could come to the UK for his university education where he completed BA (Hons) in Accounting & Finance and MSc in International Finance, both in Kingston University.
Mohamed’s first job in the UK was in the accounts department of a radio advertising company where he worked for five years. He then moved to HB Reavis UK, an integrated real estate company, where he worked as an Accountant. There he managed to bring many of the company’s outsourced operations inhouse and was responsible for the accounts of their three UK projects and other acquisitions underway.
Mohamed is an ACCA qualified Chartered Accountant and is responsible for the day to day finances of Prime Development. He looks forward to bringing improvements to the finance department of the company.
