Carl has worked in the construction industry for 22 years, specialising as a Client Side Quantity Surveyor / Construction Cost Consultant on a wide range of projects covering several sectors of the construction industry.
Carl started his career training at a small traditional Quantity Surveying practice based in Hertfordshire, where he picked up vital tendering, cost management and procurement skills, which have formed the foundation of his construction industry knowledge.
Following this Carl moved to a Construction Cost and Project Management Consultancy based in Central London where he worked for a number of years on residential, healthcare and educational projects, managing pre and post contract procurement processes.
Carl’s most recent experience has been concentrated working for a Specialist Project Management and Cost Consultancy, working primarily in the hospitality sector on a number of high profile central London restaurants and private members club fit-outs including The Ivy, Sexy Fish, 34, Smith & Wollensky, Ivy Market Grill and Mark’s Club. He has also been involved in a number of new build Hotel projects in London and around the UK in both a Project Management and Cost Consultant role.
Carl brings to Prime his wealth of knowledge of procurement and use of high quality finishes and fit-out items on high-profile projects.
